My work is inspired by personal interests in interior and fashion asesthetics as well as a deep connection to the natural world.

In my portraits, the patterned textiles refer to life, the domestic, heritage, era and taste. Textiles furnish both the homes we live in and the clothes we wear. Textile designs pass from one world into the other.

My most recent work draws on the dramatic landscapes of the north island of New Zealand and the emotional response I had while walking there.
